Perfecting the WR Get Off!

logo

When working to improve your Wide Receiver skillset, never forget about the simple things that will lead to success. Work on stances and get-offs as much as you possibly can. Keep the weight on your front foot, push off low and hard. NO FALSE STEPS! As a general rule of thumb, you should practice get offs for at least 5 minutes a day. If you can get into the 10 minute range, then you will be explosive off the line and VERY hard to cover! Perfecting get-offs can mean the difference between converting on third and long or having to punt.
